The Bankruptcy Commission is pleased to announce the launch of the First Conference on Resolving Insolvencies (SCORI) which will take place in Riyadh on Shaaban 24th and 25th 1440 AH (April 29th and 30th 2019 AD), under the Patronage of H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Bin Abdallah Al Qassabi.

The conference provides an overview of the positive impact of bankruptcy laws in resolving insolvencies through setting an attractive investment environment that protects the investment entities and support the continuation of their investment practice. This overview is based on the latest international and domestic practices that is related to the procedures of the new Bankruptcy Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/50) dated 28/05/1439 A.H.: Protective Settlement, Financial Restructuring, and Liquidation procedures.

The First Conference on Resolving Insolvencies comes in collaboration with all stakeholders related to the bankruptcy law within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, prestigious international organizations and a high level international and local audience to highlight the importance of the law within the economy, its role in encouraging investment and facilitating business. Read more...
